Quenda - Ecosystem Engineers Thursday 8 August 5.30-7.00 pm

Join Nature Conservation for the first of two upcoming seminars providing information about how you can help nature in your garden and on your property.

A presentation by Dr Gillian Bryant on the role of the southern brown bandicoot (lsoodon obesulus) as ecosystem engineers; on their biology, distribution, diggings identification, threats and some ideas for landholders to help provide additional habitat/safe refuges.

A second seminar on 15 August featuring Dr Boyd Wykes will look at how you can attract native birds to your gardens.

Learn also about Nature Conservation’s new resources to help you protect our local biodiversity in your garden and on your property. These resources will be explained at the seminars and are now available in the ‘Get Involved’ section of the Nature Conservation website.
