2018 Margaret River Bioblitz 20-21 October 2018

Join Nature Conservation for a fun interactive discovery of flora and fauna on the foreshores of the Margaret River.

This year’s Bioblitz will include three nature activities. All activities will leave from the Old Settlement, Bussell Hwy, Margaret River with walks heading out into the Margaret River foreshore reserves. Join us for one or all of the activities.

When: Saturday 20 October and Sunday 21 October 2018
Where: All Activities leave from the Old Settlement adjacent to the Hairy Marron Cafe
Cost: Gold coin donation

Sat 20 Oct 6.30 pm – 8.00 pm Possum Spotlighting
(please bring a head torch or other torch if you have one)

Sun 21 Oct 8.30 am – 10.00 am Early Bird Watching
(please bring your own binoculars if you have them)

Sun 21 Oct 10.00 am – 12.00 pm Foreshore and Wildflower Discovery Walk

Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes, bring sun and rain protection and their own water bottle. For those attending the Possum Nightstalk please bring your own head torch or other torch if you have one. We will have some on hand to load as well.
