Together we can make a difference.
Your time is one of the greatest gifts you can give to the Margaret River region environment. Volunteering for Nature Conservation provides an opportunity to repay nature for some of the enjoyment you derive from it. There are also other unexpected benefits. Volunteers often get just as much from volunteering as the cause they serve.
We have interesting, rewarding opportunities for volunteers to work in our office assisting with member support, helping coordinate our programs, managing the valuable citizen science program finding data management and helping out with events.
There are many opportunities for community members to participate in citizen science projects, for which training is provided. An appropriate level of fitness for these outdoor activities is of course required.
Support the work of Nature Conservation by becoming a Member. Paid-up members do much more than just help keep the lights on; they are an important measure of the organisation’s credibility. This is important when dealing with decision makers, attracting grant funding or requesting donor support. A strong membership base helps demonstrate the level of grassroots support enjoyed by Nature Conservation.
Paid-up members help guide the organisation’s direction by casting their vote at General Meetings.
