Staff Position Available - Environmental Education Officer

Nature Conservation Margaret River Region is seeking applications from suitably qualified professionals for the position of Environmental Education Officer. The position is being offered as a part-time contract for the 2019 school year with possible extension depending on funding available and performance.

The role of the Environmental Education Officer is to coordinate delivery of the ‘Our Patch’ Environmental Education Program to local primary schools on behalf of the Nature Conservation Margaret River Region. The ‘Our Patch’ Environmental Education Program aims to increase ecological awareness in young people through engagement with nature and involvement in local conservation issues and programs. ‘Our Patch’ currently works with over 500 students from 8 local primary schools in the Margaret River region.

The Environmental Education Officer position is offered as a 0.4 FTE part time contract position with a maximum salary of $28,766 (Pro rata Level 4.1 WA Public Service) for 11 months commencing February 2019.
